Motociclisti

Well, a difficult question for all you italians out there.
I’ve just recently started playing FoW, and I’m building me a motociclisti army. Now I was wondering what I have to do with observer teams for artillery platoons. Usually, you assign them to a different platoon (eg a bersaglieri platoon). The problem with motociclisti is that all your models are on bikes. what doe you do then? Are you allowed to buy a motorcycle for the observer team? Or is it just not possible to attach him to that platoon? Or do you have to put him in the 3 ton truck that you can choose for his artillery platoon, leaving the rest without transport?

The brittish have the option to put them in an armoured car or a light tank. Isn't that possible for the Glory that is the Italian army?

page 79 rulebook last paragraph:

"Artillery observers attached to tank platoons can ride in one of the platoon's tank"

maybe that's an option...

AHA! Go motociclisti!! Ride on and face my HMG-teams (once I have 'em, that is... )

My motociclisti are almost ready. Just need a bit of paint. And some extra trucks foor the anti-tank guns.

So bring it on.

I recently (two days ago) started to plan for a conversion of my bersaglieri into a motocyclist company. I guess that you can use a TL37 car for the artillery guys instead of a 3-ton truck.

I have bought from Eureka miniatures some tricicles, which are great for the MG platoon, as they are equipped with hmg,s. But i´m going to use some for commanders and observers.
