Artillery fire and Double move Empty
PostSubject: Artillery fire and Double move   Artillery fire and Double move EmptyMon 5 Mar - 9:39

Just a doubt. I had a quick check but I couldn't find the reply in the rulebook.

What happens when artillery fires at a platoon that has double moved? Do they get some kind of dice reroll? Or any other advantage?

Thanks for any contribution.

Ex you hit 4 stands of german troops it means that u will make normally 4 skill test in this case bacause they run you will roll 2 times 4 skill test...

This is what I interpreted from the rules..

Ciao Greg

I didn't have the time to find the right page in the corebook but i think that you can reroll every attempt to range in if the target moved at double speed.

I was right, see page 136 (corebook)

2 roll to range in

re-roll failed attempts to range in on a team moving at the double

so, 6 attempts to range in on targets moving at the double (7 with mortars)

Bonjour messieurs Very Happy

What a Face

PostSubject: Re: Artillery fire and Double move   Artillery fire and Double move EmptySat 24 Mar - 22:40

Voilà, c'est bien dans "More lessons from the front :

Page 121 (99): Artillery
The artillery summary mentions re-rolling ranging in rolls
against teams moving at the double, but the rules don’t have
anything about it.
This was an idea experimented with during development that
was accidentally left in the summaries.

Cool
